For a basic "comfortable", "clean" room, you can do worse than this outpost "close to major highways" with "lots of restaurants and shopping across the street"; it earns points for "little extras like a pillow menu and a gift bag" with items to help you sleep, as well as a "friendly" staff, but loses some for the "limited" exercise facility, "too-warm" quarters where it's hard to "adjust the temperature" and an overall "tired" look.

They have a tailgating package for some games, it was excellent!
This hotel was excellent, right across from a Mall. Great tailgating package, and the staff was very friendly and helpful!

Pool glassed in next to lobby like being in a fish bowl.
Hotel was very nicely renovated. Staff was friendly and nice. Clean. Thought food was a bit pricey especially breakfast at $10 when there is an I-Hop two doors down for half the price. Couldn't get coffee except in the morning in the lobby that was a negative and the pool looked very nice but I refuse to go in it since it is separated from the large lobby by floor to ceiling clear glass to people at the bar or in the lobby for any reason was just watching people in the pool like they were entertainment. I felt like I was on TV and really didn't want to be walking around in front of all those people in my bathing suit and I'm not to sure they really wanted to watch the people in the pool either but what else was there to look at. The recent remodel of the lobby and pool area was tastefully done.
The rooms have been updated, but the quality of workmanship, ceramic tile was not very good.

The water temperature of the pool was wonderful.
I would have liked it closer to the Capitol Square.
The hotel has been recently redecorated and has a crisp and fresh appearance despite the age of the property.

Relatively inexpensive. Handled a ceiling leak well in my first room by moving me as soon as possible.
Very thin walls.
